Skincare Tips for a Luxurious Bath Time Experience

The New Year Means a Fresh Start Toward Both Inner and Outer Beauty.

There's something so refreshing about the start of a new year. For me, the new year always inspires and renews my energy, which gives me excitement for what is to come. As we move into this next season, I am choosing to channel my energy towards peace. No matter how you may have entered this year, know that today doesn't have to be just another day. Nothing but blank pages are ahead for you - how will you choose to fill them?

Relaxing Self-Care for a Perfect Start to the New Year.

In my experience, the bath is always the best place for me to decompress and become one with my thoughts, which creates a sense of peace and balance.

Taking a bath will help you relax both physically and mentally. When a tense body enters a warm bath, the hot water increases body temperature, which relaxes muscles.

Before you relax in the bathtub, dry brush your body for 10 minutes.

Dry brushing exfoliates the skin, breaks down cellulite, increases circulation, and rids the body of toxins.

When doing your legs, dry brush longer on areas that have cellulite. The fresh blood flow oxygenates your tissue, and oxygen burns fat.

When dry brushing your abdomen, always go in a clockwise direction. Do your best to reach your back as well. Or, get your partner to help you with this fun task.

Always clean your brush thoroughly after each use to rid the brush of the dead skin cells. In addition to the physical benefits, dry brushing your body releases serotonin from your brain, helping to increase your mood and bring you happiness. In these trying times, we need as much self-care and home therapy as possible.

Eating Right is the Most Powerful Beauty Secret of All.

Eat Your Way to Healthy Skin and Beautiful Complexion

Improving your diet doesn't have to be complicated.

    1. If you reduce your calorie intake to 1/3 of what you typically eat, you can prevent many diseases, and help your immune system operate at peak levels.

    2. Eating smaller meals and eating only when you're hungry, is the best way for your body to burn fat cells.

Our food choices are so important to our health and well being. One way to start the new year off right is to clean out your pantry, refrigerator, and your freezer. Remove all processed foods and replace with them fresh food.

For optimal health, people need fresh fruits, vegetables - both grown above ground and below ground, whole grains (in small quantity), nuts, seeds, lean protein, and certain fish.

Now more than ever, living a healthy lifestyle is really important. You will have a  greater quality of life and, of course, your skin will look amazing too!
